Primary care begins with the whole picture.
The practice can begin by understanding what has changed, what has already been tried, and how the concern fits with your broader health history.
What a conversation may cover
- Your symptoms, timeline, priorities, and relevant health history
- Current medicines, prior evaluations, and care you receive elsewhere
- Whether examination, monitoring, testing, or referral may be appropriate
- What the membership includes and whether an additional cost may apply
Know when primary care is not enough
Some concerns require urgent or emergency evaluation, a specialist, or care that is not available in the practice. Call 911 for a potentially life-threatening emergency.
